HTC/PDA etc

The HTC touch diamond has no SD card whatsoever but it has 4GB of internal storage. The touch Pro & touch HD have the 4GB and they take those microsd cards.

Based on what you've said I'd recommend you have a look at expansys's grade B stock or better still get one of those Mwg devices:

http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=147071 or http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=161302 (I'd go for this one as it has GPS built in meaning that with a copy of tomtom you have a decent satnav as well!)

Whatever you do just promise me you wont blow £300 on a PDA!!

Lol, not sure I can promise that... the HTC's are no use to me if they dont take SD cards (or only microsd) as I need to transfer the data off my old PDA. I can't do this with syncing, as my PDA has lost the ability to sync!!! The MWg is no use to me, because I don't want a QWERTY keyboard, so it really is looking like the iPAQ PDA.... the smartphone that I would like doesn't exist (as far as I know).

Just realised that I have a SD slot on my laptop. (I had made a back-up of PDA data onto this card).

However, when I look at it on my lap top, all I can see are the pictures and word docs (as psw files). Is there any way that I can get the data off the SD card and onto my outlook on laptap... this way, I can make a choice of smart phone or pda, without it being based on whether it takes an SD card???
