Like, I love metal, but it's one of those genre's that is so easy to take the piss out of.

alice in chains are great.

Probably my favorite grunge band these days.

they certainly have metal influences but really aren't a metal band. Nither are soundgarden(who are also brillinet) they are a fairly straight rock band.
