Aww I like reading about other people's pets

My cat Donut has no interest in 'people food' either - I can sit eating dinner on the floor and she'll sit next to me and not be in the slightest bit intrigued. She does like a drink from a glass of water, and the only time she ever jumps up on the table is if there is a glass of water left on it (which raises the question - how does she know it's there?!)

She has completely destroyed every sofa in the house though

This is Jack, the cat who kindly lets me share a flat with him:

He waits until I have visitors then scratches his arse by bum-shuffling along the (cream ) carpet like a dog with worms. Nice


[eta I should point out that he has been checked out by a vet and the vet assures me that this is Jack's chosen way of scratching his bum and there's nothing actually wrong with him - in case anyone thought I was being mean ]
