How to kill Dandelions from the lawn

mudering dandelions, you'l never succeed.
Just learn to live in harmony with them. big, happy (cause they are having the last laugh) breeding, bright yellow sunny flowers that make me smile :) cause I live in a flat.

Oh my lord wouldbe - you don't want to do that. Instant black grass!

I hadn't intended to do it. It's very fine powder and slipped through my fingers very easily. I divided the bag in 2 so I could apply a second dose later in the year but with it being so fine the first half only did half the lawn so I used the other half to finish it off.

Mind you there are a heck of a lot of weeds in it. :(

You will however need one of those poisoned spouses (or is the plural spice)to form the foundation.

Oddly enough, Katherine Rowse Armstrong is indeed buried in the back garden of the family home. And I'm reliably informed by my Dad (who used to dig graves for three local churches when he wasn't doing tree work) that a human body makes terrific fertiliser.

Other creepy facts are available on request.

Very true, it's like blood fish and bone, but without the fish. Unless the deceased's last meal was kippers

Hose pipe won't reach the front garden. We might have a spot of rain tomorrow (fingers crossed) or I'll have to get the watering can out.

Er, really, you need LOTS of water. At the moment you have loads of dry moss killer and fertiliser on your lawn, so it's probably not doing any harm. What you really need now is a deluge so as to flush some of that excess off before it goes into solution and DOES do harm.

As a general tip, it's worth remembering that most things that are good on a garden in moderation are BAD in excess, especially if we're talking about chemicals. You're better off getting a half dose down and having to go back in a few weeks than overdosing it.

Still, it's done now, so let's just hope that it is OK. Failing that, you'll get to practice with some grass seed in a few weeks' time :)

I would guess it probably is. there's enough moisture in the air to start it working (and start reverse osmosis), but not enough to dilute it adequately.
