Yes.Ah you have unlocked the iPhone and told it to trust the computer?
There is no "camera roll", just "all photos"The Camera Roll album on the phone tells you how many pictures are actually on the phone.
I don't use iCloud for photos, or on Windows so can't help there, sorry.
When it comes to Windows, not any more, noOr beesonthewhatnow just doesn't know what he's doing.![]()

Wuh!? What version of iOS is it running? There is no "camera roll", just "all photos"
Mine is running the latest version and all I get is "all photos" as wellWuh!? What version of iOS is it running?
The Photos app has had Photos, Shared and Albums views (listed across the bottom of the page) for ages and the Camera Roll album is one of the defaults.
The only place I see "All Photos" is in the Camera app and that opens Photos anyway.

That would require vast amounts of space (and thus money). You're hardly going to have 3000 photos actually on a phone. That would require vast amounts of space (and thus money).
It seems to me like its a problem with overreliance on "apps". Transfer via explorer. Easy enough.Seems to me the problem is with the iPhone.

Another vote for Dropbox.
This. It isn't difficult.
Actually, it is.
Because I've got pics on the phone that don't seem to be 'anywhere' so they can't be transferred. Iyswim.
In that case there's software called iExplorer that lets you view inside your device like you would a hard drive and then just drag and drop the files.

I have my phone set so all new photos are automatically both backed up in Dropbox and the rather brilliant Google photos. It really couldn't be any easier.Another vote for Dropbox.
