How the hell do you walk in high heels?

That's precisely why I do wear them.

That said i've been wearing trainers to work more often than not recently.

Nah, 20+ years ago I was slim and seven stone and I could whizz along in heels. Now weight has got the better of me and there's no way I could walk in heels now. :(

That video is brilliant! I think I might not try & walk in them but do the sexy wriggly thing that Lumley did.. phwoaaar

Am doing little steps & making sure I put the heel down before the toe. That seems to be working. Later I will try & put a book on my head to see if I can walk straight. Or a cat. The cat will cling & not fall off, which the book might

Asea, are you quite new to being a woman?

:hmm:

it feels that way sometimes! have mostly been a tomboy but am suddenly feeling very womanlike. Maybe it's because I've hit 30 & am having some kind of crisis. I don't think so though.

Do you think I'm a man?

No, just the masterbating, walking in heels, hair dye....

:)

I think it's because I grew up in London & everyone is mostly in a rush. I usually walk very fast. My other half finds it quite annoying

'kin ell have you?! I thought you were my age :D

When I want height I wear wedges. Soooo much easier to walk in. Thank god they are still semi-fasionable

I don't know what happened. One minute I was 24 then suddenly I was 30. Although am frequently told that behave like a 12 year old. Oh & I got ID'd a week ago. Made my year that did!!:D:D

Not if you are used to stilettos. I haven't really got the hang of my new shoes :( They're a bit clumpy.

Kitten heels would have been better to start with asea, then once you get the hang of them you should wear the higher heels.

I started wearing heels in my teens, it's an ability that stays with you ime ;)

Wedges are better for going from no heels to heels imo, if you really need 85mm. Kitten heels are a bit low for what a lot of people want heels for innit :)

I heart wedges. Some of them have spongey soles which makes me happy two time.

No! Kitten heels are horrendous to walk in. Slingback ones anyway. Can't remember the last time I had any other kind of kitten heels.

I think everyone is different. I can do heels but struggle with wedges/platforms.
I feel clumsy in chunky shoes.

I can and have walked up to 10 miles in kitten heels. I have never worn slingbacks that I remember. I do however have quite a selection of kitten heeled boots. They are easy to drive in too and save having a pair of shoes to drive and a pair to go out in iykwim.
