how sharp is your suit?

Not sharp at all

It was a Burton's special offer that I bought for my graduation six years ago. I wear it so little that the jacket's still fine, although I had to replace the trousers after someone came all over them... :o :D

Mine's well sharp. Made in Vientianne from Itallian cloth, the trousers are modeled on designer flares I bought in bangkok. 50 quid very well spent.

We need more pics of men in suits they always look good in suits.
Blimey, I should wear a suit more often! :D

All men should darling.

There's nothing like a man in a well cut suit IMO

Mine can be viewed every weekday at approximately 8.45 am descending the steps into Brixton tube. At the moment it's covered by an equally sharp overcoat and scarf.

 ;)

Mine's sharp but rarely seen and needs dry cleaning to be resharpened.

Charcoal wool, single breasted, classic English cut.
And looks like that, but maybe not the classic English cut.

It's not as sharp as these though.

You're right y'know.

*waves white flag*

Think the thing with a suit is that less is more - I rarely wear mine (certainly not for work), so it's kept its shape well. And people (read: lay-deez) really do notice it when you put it on...

my "good" suit is sharper than a well honed, japanese cooking knife that has just been whetted by ray mears after he has just attended "knife shapening - a course for masters and how to improve just that little bit more" run by a reincarnated japanese master swordsmith...

sadly i am a lardy fucker and dont do it justice :D

single breasted, 3 button, single vent, ted baker £200 and I look the mutts

... need more occasions to wear it to though :(

I have a brown suit with a large cream flower pattern on it made by my grandma from a pair of curtains for my grandad, after he lost his demob suit. Apart from the trousers being two inches too short and the tape for the curtain hooks still around the collar I look quite spiffing.

Ted Baker eh sorearm, nice mate, I bought my daughter a Ted Baker coat for Christmas, she opened it at my mums. A couple of days ago she asked me what I got her for Christmas, I, quite indignantly, said "your bloody Ted Baker coat", she said "oh right, I thought grandma got me that". Fucking stroll on.

bespoke pin stripe ;) single breasted of course

looked the part when i got it in bangkok 6 years ago but is looking a bit jaded now . cost about £100 including two pairs of trews. bargain

a trip to bangkok may beckon

Books train back to London :o

i don't usually approve of double vents in the back - they look vulgar on the whole - but my new bad boy has 'em & it still looks coool...

got a cracking grey cashmere/wool mix overcoat too... funeral on wednesday, innit. :(

Good point. I can't believe I was even contemplating that being a practical way of doing things.

Maybe some kind of carnation might be in order?

:)
