How old are you? Your ringtone has the answer

I have "In Love With Myself" by David Guetta and am 42. Not really sure what that says about me. That I like euro-disco, maybe

I have pitchshifter genius as my defualt tune and a few pistake tunes for other people(y'know jesus walks for the bloke that looks like jesus, pretty fly for a white guy for a hip hop head etc) and mates in a band get one of thier tunes as thier ring tone if its worth chucking on my phone.

dunno what age that makes me.
early 20's, unemployed with too much time on your hands

I'm apparently 50+.

But the gf, bless her, has Shaggy's Mr. Boombastic for when I call her.

Mine's the The Wire theme. The problem is, Alex B also has The Wire theme. So we can never tell whose phone is ringing. We've not really thought it through.

My current ringtone is the "World In Action" theme tune.

Nobody else in the world has this.

50-65 old fashioned ring tone for me too...

I have had different tracks but they blend in with the radio, which is usually up quite loud at work, so the old 'bring bring' ensures that I dont miss it.

Dont much like being classed as an old fart though. :( Still, could be worse, I could have the age appropriate ring tone, Nickleback

Now you've got me thinking that the theme tune from The Tomorrow People might make a good ringtone :D

Ooh yeah, or Armchair Thriller - or whatever it was called. Or Children of the Stones or that one about the Owls...

All give me the gooseys.... :( To this day I cant listen to Dr Who choon because of some bad mushies experience  :o

50-65: Old-fashioned telephone ring This is how a phone should sound. Experimentation has taught you that other ringtones simply cause you to look around in bewilderment, thinking: "Where is that tinny version of the Mexican Hat Dance coming from?"

when one of my mobiles went off at christmas my poor father was birling about on the spot shouting ''what's that noise, where's that noise coming from?''

That's me but I am no way that old. My mobile is a telephone and as such I prefer that it sounds like one. None of these wierd ring tones for me which is actually beneficial because now I am the only person who has this tone and I know when it is my phone.

Telephones should ring!

I used to have 'Tales of the Unexpected'

I make 'em myself for a laugh.

Nothing more dull than stock standard ringtones that everyone else has.

I'm 40-50 and I hate the Nokia ringtone.

I feel like ramming mobile up owner's rectum when I hear it

Yep, this could be one of my posts. I have no idea what my ringtone is or can't be bothered to find out :D
It's classical but if I set the phone to loud it changes, which confused me the other day when my daughter phoned. It was on loud coz I was listening to my MP3 player.

two regular ringtones, but only because my mobile phone is crap.

If I could, I'd have Fly In The Pool by the alleged Boards of Canada or the guitar riff from Freed Pig by Sebadoh as ringtone, and the Penalty Shootout Theme from European Club Soccer for texts.

My phone is a nokia black and white piece of 80s ness.

I wouldn't know how to get a good ringtone on it.

So now it's just a twinkly thing.

There was no 'ring ring'.

I am in the 25-30 bracket and have 'The World Turned Upside Down' by Billy Bragg as my ring tone.

Its set to ascending, which means a never bloody hear it but it but hey ho
