How often do you get your hair cut?

i cut it myself when the ends start looking too scraggy, normally every 2 or 3 months. fringe gets done every few weeks unless i'm growing it out, like now.

I bloody hate the hairdressers. I hate the expense, i hate having to sit and stare at myself in the mirror for hours, i hate the small talk with the hairdresser, and i hate all the gunk they put on my hair that i have to immediately rinse out the minute i get home

this is why the last time i went to a hairdressers was 2 years ago.

i want short hair again but i've had hairdresser-dread for months :(

6 months ago. Haven't shaved for a month either. My girlfriend said she finds my beard sexy and I don't particularly care how I look.

This, but I'm aiming to trim it every 6/8 weeks so it's doesn't get scraggy in future iyswim.

My hair seems to have gotten to a length and won't grow any longer :hmm: I only noticed this when I was looking at old photos :D

um between once every 3 months, and once every 6 months...

but always to a barbers for a cheap cut, and none of the fancy stuff like gel... mainly because I've not put shampoo into my hair (regularly rinse it in hot water though) for over a decade now, and I don't want to have that pre wash thing you get at, um, more high class hairdressers

Apart from a minor trim of ends and neck fluff the last proper haircut I got was last August. I love having hair. I had a crew cut for 20 years and now have a load of curls :)

Every 6 months. Cut and highlights. Saks academy, Covent Garden. £20 (plus a fiver tip)

I normally wait for donkeys before cutting mine. I cut my own fringe. With varying degrees of success. :hmm:

yes, I've heard that donkeys are good at haircutting, unlike, say, the shetland pony which is frankly rubbish at anything other than emo hairdoos

Not often enough. You can't really do anything with my hair anyway, and I get hairdresser fear because they comb it  then it goes all weird for about a week :hmm:

mine grows really quickly, so i only tend to notice how long it is on the rare occasion i leave it down for work and someone comments on its length. recently cut 8 inches off the bottom of it, and its still too long!

Call me shallow, but I'm not sure I could ever go out with a beard wearer. I'd worry about it absorbing food without him even knowing. I know that would happen to me if I were capable of growing one, being the world's messiest eater and all.

Anyway, in an ideal world I get my hair cut every two months as I hate it long, here in the real world there have been seven month gaps.

I think from the age of 10 I've had my hair cut about 5 times, so that works out about once every 3 years.

Depends on the style, when my hair was very very short, I used to get it shaved every month - these days I tend to go about three times a year.

I need to get mine cut soon, it's getting straggly. I think Elle have a voucher for a free cut, or you can get vouchers from Play.com for a fiver.

just when it gets messy, or frizzy or i notice split ends.

im a bit shit with my hair tbh, and have had the same 'style' (lol) for years...boring unadventurous bag that i am.
