Indeed! One of the great things about wood-burning cookstoves is that you can get the firebox so hot that the oven temp exceeds 500°F. The food and splatters incinerate and any resultant smoke just goes up the flue. After that, it's a simple matter of cooling the oven down and taking the shop-vac to the ashes. Voilá-- clean oven!![]()
