How often do you change your bedding?

Jesus, people!!! Arent you ashamed? One of my ex's would never change his bedding and I used to hate staying round because of it. :o In the end, I bought him new bedding and ended up changing the sheets every weekend when I went round.

I think it's just laziness of y'all parts! :(
I feel no shame. I kinda like the smell of dirty sheets in the morning :D....and when things get a bit too gross then febreze is the answer, sorted innit :)

Depending on how hot it is, every couple of weeks probably. My housemate has a bf and so changes his sheets every week or more....wonder why :D

no, I'm sure you do too. The only difference is, i'm not as lazy as you! ;)

Yes - I'm lazy (where housework is concerned!) and not afraid to admit it either. It's just so bloody boring AND it ALWAYS needs doing. It's a never-ending cavalcade of tedium in which I find no virtue.

I'm firmly in the "fuck it - that'll do" housework camp :D

This is why I am in constant turmoil because in terms of effort I am in this camp but I so want to be in the 'my house is spotless, everything is organised' camp. :(

Give up - it's much easier to just clean things when they really are dirty or have a good clean when you know someone's coming round ;)

Release yourself from the tyranny of the hoover!

Although the staff change the bed linen, I would expect it to be done at least once a week. I can't imagine having done less often that would be gross!

Well I just changed a king size and half of a bunk bed, both with duvets and it took me 15 mins. Not too bad, we do it weekly but I still find it a pain in the neck. The duvets take the most time.

I change a king size, a double and two singles weekly. So those of you who have one bed to change can stop moaning. :p

I can't bear dirty sheets - I just love getting into a freshly made bed.

Sounds to me like you should train the occupants of the other beds to change their own flippin sheets !! :-)

I'm working on it! But it turns into such a palaver with the little one getting lost inside his duvet cover that I end up taking over and doing it myself. :D

depends on when i feel it needs it, but that tends to be about every fortnight or so. I've been ill this week and couple that with the weather my sheets are changed every week or so. I love clean sheets...

Even reading that makes me feel lovely.

We change every Saturday, after a nice day spent dealing with chores, including changing the bedding, soak in a nice bath followed by some lovely food, and then a clean fresh bed. Lovely.

Hurrah! *waits for missfran to come along and complete the filthy trio* :D

:D :D

I actually stayed away from this thread, I'm so ashamed by how infrequently I was the sheets. And the cat sleeps on the bed too :o My excuse is I've got nowhere to dry the bloody sheets.

But I have been inspired by you non-filthy people! Just put the sheets in the washing machine

they may smell a little, but it's only your own aroma - and i rather like that :D feels all nesty and comfy

Yay !

I like this too !

:D

I should add as i'm the only one that sleeps in 'em it doesn't affect anyone else !

Thinking about it I have been in my flat 8 months and have only changed the sheets 4 times. I am queen of ming

*scurries off to change sheets*

On the other hand -how many of you fastidious sheet-changers clean your lightswitches and pull cords? I bet you've all got minging light switches and cords
