my duvet cover has gone for longfer than a month thats for sure.....

i tend to change the bottom more than the top though

When I first left home at 18, I never changed the bedding. Didn't occur to me!!!

I generally leave it at least 2 months though, now. It's a fucking faff to dry the bedding!

We change sheets duvet covers and pillow cases weekly. I hate doing it, its the duvet covers, they are so fiddly..

How do you change your duvet cover?

Me I lay the duvet out on the bed and then the cover inside out on top of it, then I reach inside the duvet cover and get to the top corner, grab the cover and duvet corner together and pull it out through the inside of the inside out duvet cover. Repeat for other corner and then shake to get the cover going down the duvet .. etc

I bet there are other, perhaps better ways, anyone ?

okay reading back you and firky win :o

funnily enough if anything i change the covers slightly more often than the sheet. in fact with our new bed we really only have one bed sheet atm the fits the new size

We change ours when we can smell it and not until :D Can't understand why anyone can be arsed to change it more often than that!

We live in a 1-bed flat and if I changed it once a week, we would spend most of our lives surrounded by wet bed linen hanging off doors and radioators.

Hurrah! *waits for missfran to come along and complete the filthy trio* :D

Changing bedsheets though is one of the chores that is fiddly but takes just 5 mins to do and is sooo rewarding and worth it. :):)

The best is putting fresh bedding on the bed straight after it's been in the dryer. mmm, fresh, crisp and warm sheets!!

Nah - couldn't give a damn - would rather be watching telly or down the pub than changing/washing/drying bedsheets.

And we sleep in the nip as well :p

Jesus, people!!! Arent you ashamed? One of my ex's would never change his bedding and I used to hate staying round because of it. :o In the end, I bought him new bedding and ended up changing the sheets every weekend when I went round.

I think it's just laziness of y'all parts! :(
