Shit, I've just realised my original estimate was purely what I'd spent on records/CDs over the years. I hadn't even considered the money I've spent on (b) through to (e)...

That'll probably increase the total figure by another couple of grand.

thousands of pounds over the years but don't have to pay to go to most gigs anymore which is nice but still go to Fopp every Friday for a weekend CD binge..looking forward to it already

Over the last three years I've spent about £8000 on black crack... sorry, vinyl, all second hand. The kind of tunes I collect doesn't help either, a lot of it goes for silly money ('91 Belgian techno and '91-'93 breakbeat hardcore).

About a grand and a half on decks, amp, speakers etc.

Never bought concert tickets.

I enjoy reaping the rewards of copyright theft, so haven't spent a penny on production software. No hardware, no need with the kind of stuff I'm making.
