How much 'spending money' do you get through a week? THE REAL POLL

God about 40-50 maybe.

I generally buy 2 packs of 10 fags to last the week,few pints on my friday and on saturday evening's ill either go to a party with free booze or go clubbing with a bottle of whisky or whatever.20 quid on draw.I always make a fake bus pass or cycle which sorts my travel

At the moment as my wages just about cover the bills we live on my tax credit (£74.33) a week.............

thats for food, fags, beer etc !

I voted 150-200 quid but that includes food and drink for my missus and food and drink and nappies for my kid. So not too bad.
I haven't bought any clothes or shoes for about 6 months, luckily I work in production and can get away with dressing like the IT blokes as no fucker ever sees us. I buy a packet of cigarettes that lasts 2 days and about 5 euros worth of weed every 2 days.
Food is our biggest expense, I like to buy good stuff - I get most from the organic market though. I pay 20 euros a month for sandwiches at work (subsidised - saves me loads) and only go down the pub at happy hour, so my usual bar bill is 4 euros for 4 vaasjes.
The rest goes on health insurance (over 180 euros a month for 3 - everyone has to pay it here), rent and bills and 100 euros a month savings. I'm looking forward to the missus finding some work.
Until things get better I don't buy any music (cheers Oink!), rent any films (cheers BitTorrent) or go out particularly - sitting in the park is my new leisure acitivity.

I'm a rotter for living by my means. If I've got £100 a week to piss up the wall, then I'll do it, if I've got £250 a week to piss up the wall then I'll manage that too. I'll take full advantage of any overdrafts if need be and sometimes even end up borrowing a tenner off my mate until the following week. That being said though, I can also get by on the dole which (after my deductions) turns out at about £35 a week.

I don't concern myself with petty things like "rent", "bills" and "debt repayment" though, so when I say "all of it", I mean every single penny
