How much meat for a ten person roast?

Although you don't usually stuff a beef/pork roast so that's not very good. Maybe a spit roast though, I wouldn't mind sticking my sausage into a spit roast (I'm eating a sausage).

Fnar, fnar, snort, wibble, fnurkle, etc.
 
So I went out and got 2.2kg of beef rump and 2.2kg of pork leg. It's a shed load of meat :D

I'm gonna marinate the beef overnight in red wine, onions, bayleaves and peppercorns. Not sure what to do with the pork. I was going to try fennel seeds but I'm going to have to cook em in the same tray so I don't want the gravy turning out weird. Probably just stud it all over with rosemary and garlic.

I just cooked the best red cabbage in the world cos it's supposed to be better when done the day before. Egon Ronay recipe with carraway seeds and wine ftw. I'm also having curly green kale with butter and bacon and carrot and sweede mash with nutmeg.

It is soooo nice to finally have a couple of days off in a row.
