Of course you put it on both bits of bread.

Come to think of it, the bread is pretty much only there as a delivery mechanism for the butter....

/\ /\ /\ this.

I could say the same of most carbohydrates, tbh... they only exist as a butter-into-mouth logistics solution.

No way! You still need butter in peanut butter sandwiches otherwise your mouth gets all stuck up with peanut butter :vomit:

Butter on both, couldn't be any other way.

I thought they only asked you if you wanted butter on sandwiches because of all those people who deny themselves tasty food because they're on a "diet".

Which doesn't work because they eat a ton of "diet" food and don't take enough exercise.

Well you thought wrong my friend, very wrong. Butter is rank, I do not like butter, I have never liked butter, I don't want it on my toast, on my sandwiches, on my vegetables, on my popcorn - I don't want it anywhere. It's rank.

Perhaps a course in butter sculpture would set back on the correct way?

Well . . . in the last 12 hours my entire life has disintegrated. Polarities have reversed.

It turns out that not even my own family butter one side. I thought my brother would be with me. . . but no :( "two sides of course" he informs me.

:(

I love the flavour of butter, I take thin slices and put in on the bread, a bit like cheese. But I have high cholesterol, so I don't do it very often.

The only question that remains is: which is worse - butter on one side or none at all? I see that Annierak is one of the 'no butter' perverts. Her fucking card is marked.

her card was marked anyway because she puts lettuce in fishfinger sandwiches!

my mum puts butter on her toast like cheese on a cracker.:(

:D So do I sometimes. I like a bit of toast/scone/oatcake, etc with my butter.

For me it depends on my mood and what is being in the sandwich. I don't make sandwiches often coz I don't eat much bread.

If I was making a peanut butter sandwich it probably wouldn't have butter on it. If I'm putting mayo on a thing it doesn't need butter either.

You have high cholesterol? Really??

It's amazing how these things creep on you for no good reason!

:p

It makes me feel queasy when she does it!

And she tries to thrust this trend on to us aswell! If she makes us toast it's cheese butter style again.

I saw her giving my niece a cream cracker with shedloads of butter on it the other day!

She dismissed my concerns. Old school mum.

What are your concerns?? That some butter is bad for your health?? Depends on the rest of your lifestyle imo. I can eat butter when I want coz I eat lots of good things too :D
does that mean can have cheese boards for breakfast lunch and dinner every day, if i have an apple and a carrot afterwards?

*hopeful*
