How Much Booze Have You Got In Right Now?

8 bottles of real ale - Tanglefoot, Speckled Hen, Old Peculiar & Golden

See, I read something like that and think 'Fuck! I haven't got any of those beers in!' like it's some sort of affront to my stature as a human being. Then I head off to Beer Club Of Great Britain and start ordering.

It's almost a compulsion. :D

None of this has finished brewing yet, but here goes 2 - Galllons of Rhubarb wine, 1 - gallon of rhubarb and grape champagne, 1 - gallon of honey cider, 1 - gallon of bogstandard cider and 25 pints of turbo cider

Know what you mean. Since the pubs around Brixton fell to filling their real ale pipes with sick and mud I've been buying bottled ale much more from Supermarkets. Trouble is their stocks are very limited, brewery wise, and I end up getting the same stuff all the time.

What's the delivery like from Beer Club? Course, the nutters from the crack house 2 doors down would have it all away from my porch before I got home from work.......

I rely on lifts from the GF to a nice offy in East Dulwich to get a wider range, and try not to get tempted into the over-priced cheese shop.

1 btl of Irish malt
1 btl of Scots malt
1 btl of El Ron De Cuba rum
1 btl of Bacardi
1 btl of Morgans Spiced
1 btl of Jaagermeister
Dozen (or so) btls of wine (red & white)
Crate of Beer + half dozen btls of cider

All the spirits have some out of them as they're used for various cocktails etc.

I always like a nice selection at home, just incase like...

Never had any problems with them. It's usually about £7 for a 24 bottle case. Your neighbours might be a different story. ;)

They're good value if you get one of their end-of-season deals.

This one's a good 'un at the mo, like:

Beer Club Bonanza

Works out at £1.30 a bottle for a good selection of stuff.

Don't... Tempt me!
Understand that I would use this beer from a desire to do good, but through me, it would wield a power too great and terrible to behold.

I'm glad I'm nowhere near the worst on this thread.

I have 'respectable' or 'good' alcoholism. :)

Depends how you define "worst". To me, that is someone who doesn't have any alcohol in! :)

To others, it will be someone, like me, who has a random collection of alcohol.

To still others, it will be someone who collects wine and "lays it down" :D

I like the idea, they've got some lovely beers on there. Delivery still an issue though, perhaps I should move to Dulwich :D

We have quite a bit

20 bottles of assorted Belgian beer (just come back from Bruges)
1 bottle dark Bombadier beer
2 large bottle of Leffe
2 bottles fizzy wine/champagne left over from a housewarming party
3 or 4 bottles of red wine
5 or 6 bottles of white wine
1 bottle Absinthe (never drunk :o)
2 bottles Becherovka (Ceczh spirit)
2 bottles el cheapo vodka which we were given
1 bottle absolute Raspberry vodka
2 bottles flavoured Polish vodka (honey and cherry)
2 bottles flavoured Estonia vodka (Green Apple and Vanilla)
1 bottle of Kazakstan vodka (a gift from a friend)
1 bottle of Jack Daniels
1 bottle of single malt
1 bottle of Madeira

And that is after drinking two bottles of white, one bottle of rose and two bottles of red (between six of us) on Monday :o

Get them to drop it off at work?

This might also raise eyebrows, get you the sack and then you'll have the benefit of plenty of spare time to enjoy your beer.

Result! :D

Be fun getting it home on my bike too.

1 bottle of Cava

No red wine (very unusual)

about a crate and a half of this:

and about 8 bottles of Peroni.

Just discovered more booze when I was making me lunch: two bottles of Doom Bar in the cupboard that I'd completely forgotten about and six little bottles of Stella in the fridge that had barely even registered with me in the first place.

I got them free off me Stepdad who's just come back from France. Don't drink lager much these days so they might be there for a bit unless we get a proper hot, sunny day.

A box of Soave in the fridge and a bottle each of crème de mûres, white rum, whisky, apple & pear obstwasser, korn, steinhäger, and some lovely plum herber zestsch.

A couple of bottles of vodka in the freezer.
An aeroplane size red bottle under my bed.
A bottle of almost finished pimms in the fridge.
A small bottle of brandy.

Half a bottle of Chilean Merlot.

I used to buy in bulk - a 'month's worth' at a time, but this was way too much temptation and strangely coincided with me being a complete lush. Was getting through 1 to 2 bottles of red a night.

So I don't keep anything more than a bottle at a time in these days
*polishes halo*

Have you drunk a whole bottle of creme de mures already.

Why are you an alcoholic if you have lots of booze in the house? Surely you're more likely to have a problem if you haven't, because you've drunk it already. :D
