How messy is your house?

pum.jpg

Thats where I am right now.

Is that a built in wardrobe? looks

our house is perpetually strewn with cat hair, brightly coloured baby toys, puke-stained muslins, half-dealt with paperwork, sweet wrappers and shoes. i blame it all on the baby ;)

TBH most of that mess is pretty low grade. You've got a lot of misplaced clutter but it's not something you've really taken effort or time to develop over time. I'd give madz a 7 out of 10 and Mungy a 5 for the stirling attempts to avoid getting some shelves.

We've only been here since nov/dec it will take us time to develop real mess.

I'm trying to clear the back bedroom at the moment. Needs a good airing due to window being shut for months. Will have to strip the bed and 8 pillows and give it a hoovering.

The rest of the house can wait and it depends on what room's getting any sun into it as to whether it's warm enough to stay in there longer than 5 minutes. :D

Our spare room is now deliciously tidy. The front room looks like a bomb has gone off in Waterstone's at the moment cos I'm trying to sort out the books we want from the books we don't and attempting to categorise them at the same time.

Our bedroom was looking pretty decent but it's crept back to being a bit messy since I finished the spare room. I'll get rid of enough stuff soon that I can have both looking good! The kitchen is wobbly tidy. Odds and sods out that could be in cupboards if we had the room but it's clean and the washing up is done.

Bathroom has a mountain of 1990's Loaded magazines in it :D

Madz, that mess can be cleaned in a good 1 hour blitz. You're fine.

My flat has been surprisingly clean for the last month. Washing up may get left for a couple of days, but that's all.

Actually, the bathroom's a mess. But that won't take long, I might do it tonight.

And the bedroom doesn't count because guests can't see it.

Messier than I perceive it, I fear. :o The kitchen's a tip, as gsv made some veg stock and I cooked something else in a big pot last night, so there's a shitload of washing up to be done, and the floor is covered in cuttings that fell off the worktop.

Do have the cleaning lady coming tomorrow, so that will improve things. I think I will sweep the floor today, at least, so she doesn't have to contend with that.

Bedroom's messy mainly because the crappy wardrobes don't shut properly, so their contents are on view to the world.

My house is messy, but not dirty. I have clothes strewn over one side of my room, but they wouldn't take long to sort out. My room really needs to be hoovered but ours has broken. Bathtoom needs a clean as always, and there's probably a bit of washing up to do and the floor could be mopped in the kitchen.
