How many weekday nights do you stay in?

Argh! I don't fit within your model Hollis!

Anyway, I get to go out on Thurdays, usually, and every other Friday - but you don't count that as a weekday...

So, according to your definition of weekday, I stay in 3 days a week, but I voted for 4, because I was counting Fridays, but I guess, on average it's 3.5... :p :confused:
 
dont' go out to pubs etc on weeknights but i go swimming and to the gym about 3 nights a week
last night i was out wandering about walking the dog at 3am cos i could'nt sleep..
 
despite my best intentions otherwise, I end up going out on one weeknight most weeks. It doesn't suit me - i need my sleep.

Running - counted as going out, as it is an organised club night where I meet people I know. Hope this fits with your criteria.

In spring this will be replaced/supplemented with football.
 
very rarely go our on a weekday at the moment, but that's due to money. i imagine in a few months when i get a life again i'll go out once or twice, to gigs or down the pub for a quiet beer or two.
 
I try to make it all four. Sometimes it's as many as three but that's bad because then I can't go out on Fridays because I fall asleep dribbling in the corner. :(

This week, I am staying in every night to ensure I'm as energetic as possible tomorrow :cool:
 
I live for the weekend - I get miserable if I'm not out then but weekdays only spontaneously for a couple of drinks with friends or work.
Apart from that, nothing goes on in the week and there's lots of DVDs to watch and I need my space from my mates. Downtime is essential.
 
I go to uni two nights a week at the moment, probably go out one other weeknight with Kyser or with friends. I go out to dinner a lot, plus have friends over at home.

It varies. A lot. This year, I've been staying in on average two of the four. Last year, I was just too knackered, and consequentially anti-social, to want to do anything other than stay in.

Indeed, I am going through a patch of staying in at the moment.. which aint all bad.
 
i can't face bars/pubs/anything at the weekend - too many people and most of them are suckers with a queueing/bouncer fixation. can just about do it if its a private room or party.

so i go out most nights in the week - a better class of person and you can sit down in a chair and everything!
 
Does Friday night count? I think that's the weekend?

I rarely go out in the week - perhaps once every six months? Generally it's because it's something do with work - last time I went out on a weekday I was in Milan for a meeting. We went to Armani Nobu, (someone else was paying :p ), then onto the bar, but I bailed out before it was time to go to the nightclub, because I really had enough, it was packed and there was nowhere to sit down. The bar was awful, people were rude, just pushing past you (almost knocking you from your feet) and had no manners.

I guess I'm older now, I know what I like and can't be arsed with places like this. I can't bear the velevet rope brigade and I used to be such a sucker for it too- I'd go to the opening of a toilet seat.

I'm not mad on pubs either.

If I'm not planning a night at Unsound or suchlike I like a quiet life. In bed with a bottle of wine and a dvd. :cool:
 
As I work shifts, often the week is the weekend for me, ifyswim. This week I've been working nights Tues, Weds, Thurs, so haven't been out at all. :(
 
Monday almost always stay in.
Tuesday usually stay in.
Wednesday usually go to a cafe for a Socialist Worker meeting, though yesterday I played snooker (badly) and got pissed instead.
Thursday occassionally go out drinking; not tonight though.
Friday often go out drinking or cinema or something.

I probably socialise once a week (including weekend). My friends tend to be on rotation (one round for dinner per week). Sometimes there's busy family stuff like we saw his family on sunday and wednesday which meant I cancelled my family on thursday. Oh and birthdays are exceptions. Then, I am in a couple.
edit: I guess I should also mention I've got ME and therefore simply can't go out all the time. Don't want to skew the stats with an undisclosed disability. ;) I pretend that I choose to stay in though.
 
I like staying in. Staying in is :cool:

Having said that I go out at least one or two nights a week, for a dance class or cinema or socialising or whatever...
 
Crikey, I'm still the only person on the poll who is out every weeknight! :eek:


TBH this is only a fairly recent initiative born from my partner working away from home during the week - I'm not that keen on going home to an empty flat!

It's a bit weird though - I can easily go from one weekend to the next without setting foot in our living room.
