How many tabs have you got open on your browser right now?

My uni webmail is always open. It auto refreshes so I don't need to reload.

Everything else, well I find it suits my style of browsing rather well to have all the sites I use several times a day open all the time. I click on a tab and hit refresh. It's marginally less annoying for me than opening a new tab then either going to bookmarks and opening the page from fresh or bringing up speed dial and clicking on one of them.

It works for me. I couldn't give a shit what works for others.

Especially beneficial when so many tools/accounts require you to log in. This thread is over cos you cannot see the point.

I walk on water. Good night.

OK then. change title to "how many tabs in <insert name> browser?
Let me change the title and breathe new life back into this thread!

As for me: I've currently got eight Firefox browser windows open with a total of around 50 tabs, plus Chrome with five tabs open.

Three.

But then (a) I've only recently got back and (b) Safari can be a right memory hog if you don't quit and re-open it regularly. Or at least it used to be; maybe more recent versions are better but I still have the instinct.

On my first PC after graduating, I used to regularly run Opera 5 on Linux with two or three dozen tabs open - and that machine had far lower specs than my current netbook. But then I was on dialup so used to open things in new tabs, then stay on the same one until they'd loaded, and didn't like closing tabs because I'd just have to reload the things later.

I don't have tabs but normally I don't have more than two IE windows open and perhaps notepad.

My computer is very ancient!

21 on my android phone. Apart for U75 and my email the rest are for things I want to buy so I can find them again.

133 as I open pages and then get sidewalked onto something else so leave them open for reading later. Murder for song that with YouTube science vids
