I can understand why you can only count juice as one, there's no solids in it so it's lacking something, but why not smoothies? Everything that's in whole fruit is in my smoothies. I don't peel anything, in fact I manage to consume a lot more of it than if I was eating it straight.

If your making your own smoothies then they contain the fibre from all the fruits you put in. It also contains all the vitamins and minerals as well. So you get the best of both worlds (whatever the 5 a day is trying to acheive).

I think the stir-fry I made for tea just about covers my five portions for today. It had onion, pepper, green beans, mini-sweetcorn and peas in it, and it was very nice indeed.![]()
