uniqlo used to stock 30w 36l but don't seem to anymore. which isn't too much of a problem, as their denim is shit now.

Aside - does anyone know any good places in London for blokes jeans that don't trail on the floor?

try online, you can usually get jeans much cheaper that way. try jeans station or cloggs or buy jeans. or try H&M or topman.

levis also dont do girls jeans without elephant ear flaps for the hips.

wont you think of us poor hipless girls?

30" waist 36" legs - you wanna go to topshop, the people who design for them have only ever seen tall and thin people or short and fat people  being tall and fat is impossible to get jeans :(

what length are your legs? levis do them by the inches 30", 32", 34", 36" etc
I can't remember - ask marty21 or Magneze as we are jeans triplets - 34" waist, 32" leg I think
Jeans in shops are invariably 2" too long

I don't buy Levis anyhow

I'm not keen on online shopping - how do you try them on? Will check out H&M - where are the first three you mentioned?

34"w 32" leg isn't that abnormal (nowhere near as abnormal as Milesy anhow!!)

Pretty sure Gap do that size, as do most of the *poncy* jeans makers.

i managed to get some alright jeans from topman, specifically designed to be long enough for turn-ups (which is how i like my jeans, and have done since about 1996). i'm actually a 34" leg but like a 36" or more.

lost count at no 11, some of which still have their tags on :o only cos i buy loads on trips to NY and then keep them until i've run out of 'clean' ones.

I love Jeans and the fact that you get nice fitting 'odd' sizes at a bargain in NY! one i have on now is a RW size 11! wtf never seen sizes 11, 13 ... until NY:D

Then how come I can't find any?

Dunno fella, I just know that I get pissed off when there's 34x32 or 32x34 on the rails and I am after 34x34

I don't like Levis or Gap either, just a suggestion :)

why dont you buy levis / not keen on gap? is it the cut? because the denim is really good.... or so i think.

i'm 34"/34"
or 34"/ 36"

I don't like the look of them but mainly cos everyone else has them

I didn't see the other options - I usually spend between £50-£70 on jeans

I'll prolly get a slap for this... try Ted Baker or House of Fraser/John Lewis/Selfridges.

I didn't see the other options either. The most I've ever spent on jeans is £30. That was once and once only. I usually get em 2nd hand.

I used to have 2 pairs of jeans, then I lost one, so I bought another. Then I found the lost pair so now I have 3 pairs. Incredibly interesting, eh?

That'll be it then, probably. Monkeygrinder wears his to work.

and madamv's point. jeans don't look good on me. but then, what does...

more to the point - i can't buy jeans from many places.

Well I think you look fabulous whenever I see you, so ner :p :)

Yeah, House Of Fraser is where I usually go - I got my perfect fitting French Connection jeans there but I lost them on a beach in Barcelona :(

Oh yeah as for cost i have a pair of black £40 quid jeans(allegedly reduced from £120 but i dont belive them)

a pair of £60-70 ish phat farm jeans which i absolutly love and then the rest will be under 30 quid i would guess.

I need a pair of joker brand jeans that i can go out in which will cost an arm and a leg(but look oh so cool) and i need some cheapish blue ones fairly desperatley.

You buy and you don't try?

Christ, I have to try on about 50 pairs of jeans before I find any that fit the way I like
He doesn't mind if they don't fit, in fact he loves it...

6 pairs here - 2 ordinary cheapo blue pairs. 2 black/very dark grey denim - one of which I just got on Saturday because I've been waiting for that style to come back into stock. One treasured pair of Levi's & one other smart/name pair that are kept for best.

There is usually a couple of very old/near worn-out pairs that I keep for when I'm working on something filthy/painting/gardening etc but I wouldn't count them as day to day wear.

Yes, I wear jeans nearly all the time, incl work. There are maybe 3 or 4 days in the year that call for smart wear & that is quite enough! :)

Forgot to say that I mainly stick to cheapo jeans cos I've had several pairs of Levi's nicked off the line. So they get dried indoors.

Name brand jeans tend to be truly unaffordable here as official outlets, charging top-whack dominate.
