How many different London areas have you lived in?

This will be my 20th year living in the New Cross/Deptford area - before that I had lived in Whitechapel, Earls Court, Hackney, Elephant & Castle and Camberwell.

Plaistow, Camden, Kentish Town, Twickenham, Seven Sisters, Leytonstone, Brixton, Tulse Hill, East Dulwich, Peckham.

Arrived in London September 2005.

Thus far:

Golders Green
City
East Dulwich

I have been much happier since I moved to ED :)

Bellenden road is NOT Peckham, its in fact North Each Dulwich or East Camberwell!!!!!:D:D

Been to the wishing well yet?
They used to have a full sized billiards table in the back, such a loss it went all foodie

so those of you who have looooong lists of places in London, have you ever lived anywhere else other than the smoke?

and would you go back? or move out of london to elsewhere?

i am nosey :)

Yes, Manchester when I was a baby, and several places in Kent between 1983 and 1997. I like London at the moment though, not planning to move out.

Pah! It's SE15, it's just a few minutes walk from Peckham Rye. Blates Peckham.

You're doing my edgy street-cred no end of harm

And yep - been to the Wishing Well a couple of times. Not sure I'd describe it as foodie, though :hmm:

now attempting to move to tulse hill or thereabouts to be near my beloved - please tell me its a good place to live?

I lived on the east side of Tulse Hill (West Dulwich borders) and it's bloody lovely. Quiet, nice suburban feel to it, tree-lined streets, the occasional nice pub, and the transport links are amazing. Tulse Hill does have some rough old bits towards Brixton (on Tulse Hill itself) but on the whole it's really nice.

It's the place to be :)

It's the first place I have lived in London that I haven't wanted to escape from, which has to be a good thing!

Am starting to explore the area a little more now .. Dulwich Village is beautiful on a spring Sunday afternoon. Haven't made it to the park or the picture gallery yet but there's time .. :)

NINE!!!111!!! omg

W5 (two addresses)
W13
NW1
N20
SE7
SE19
SW11 (two adresses)

it's all about my ends in SOUTH tho. I will never live anywhere else :D

Only Charlton SE7 (dull and too far out but inoffensive enough). If I end up staying in London - likely, if the job I have an interview for on friday doens't come off - I'll look seriously at moving to the Camberwell/Dulwich sort of area.

That's the one

Coxs Walk, thru the Woods, up the hill, into the pub, next door to this

Yet another reason why south is best!!!!!:D:D:cool:

West - Houslow, Osterley, St Mags, Richmond ( student days )
East - Stratford - (sh*thole )
South - East Dulwich, Nunhead. ( fav by a mile )

Never lived North though did have a girlfriend who lived near Camden so camped there for 6 months or so

Including the 'not proper London' parts

Harrow for six years

The last seven years, in order....
Deptford
Shepherd's Bush
Chiswick
Kingston
Turnham Green
Sutton
Brixton
New Malden
Brixton

I've been my house in Brixton now for two years. I love it here, my house and Brixton.I'm glad my life has settled down and im not moving all the time anymore :) I don;t think I'll live anywhere else in London, except the Brixton area... I certainly will not be moving back to Harrow, EVER! Yuck!

The same house in Plumstead SE18 for the first 18 years of my life. I'm moving back to SE London in mid August but I don't know where to yet. The only geographical criterion is that it will have to be a reasonable bud ride from central Greenwich.
