How, if at all, can we solve the terrace house parking problem?

I would do something thjough rather than just moan about it on bulletin boards.

We did ! It took ages though because the "buy to let" owners tried to block any resident measures to control the fiasco and delayed the whole process.

And now anyone who takes the piss has a nice shiny clamp and a minimum fine of £85 to go with their lousey attitude

It could very easily be the estate agent blagging or the tenants taking the piss.

Yes it could well be, but the bottom line is I don't really care who's fault it ultimately is, just that the anti-social behaviour that is personally affecting me stop.

It took us a while to get there but it has. I haven't seen anyone parking illegally or clamped in the past fortnight, so it looks like the lesson is finally striking home

And again I stress I am talking about outside London here, where the transport system is very different.

London is different true, but other cities have public transport innit.
