I never liked 'em much,

arseholes for sueing them over
"Goodbye Ruby Tuesday, go home you silly cow"

Don't forget: Jim Bob from Carter is playing the Offline Christmas Special on Dec 16th!

Heard him DJ before at HDiF though :p

Carter were fantastic live- get the first two albums is my advice ;)

I liked them, but not thought about, or listened to them for years...brings back memories...

saw them in camden once and my residing memory of the gig (unfortunately :( ) is of my ex husband grinning inanely all night just cos he'd had his teeth polished - 1st visit to the dentist in loadsa years so he had been crapping his self, and couldn't stop baring his teeth at everyone all night cos he was so pleased at only havingf his teeth cleaned!

reckon i might have to have a shuffle thru the cds now, find them again and a relisten

Carter were very good for what they were.

And streets ahead of the kind of Travis rubbish that stands for the death rattle of indie today.

But as for me I think I'll leave all that to the kids.

If you like "classic" Carter (101 Damnations/30 Something) you really should go and see iDou. Two members of Fruitbat's band since 1998, Abdoujaparov, playing two loud noisy punk rock guitars over a backing track of electronica and samples. Sounds familiar?

Websites are http://www.idou.co.uk/ and http://www.myspace.com/idou2 and they've just finished a mintour so sorry if I got anyone unduly excited.
