Me too, I get 27 days and we shut for a week at Christmas and a few days at Easter so I have more leave than I need.

I have to work 12 hour shifts on Xmas Eve and Xmas Day, then from the 28th til whenever, with only New Years day off

I'm going to have to start bargaining for time off at christmas.

They hauled people in on christmas day here for the first time ever, last year, and bank holidays are no longer a given. I've never worked one *yet* though.

very easy, just tell them when I want to be off and that's it. we're supposed to give 2 weeks notice, but they're pretty flexible.
