don key ho tay

i have a poster for the play for don key ho tay that i need to get framed and up on my wall. he's on his donkey (not to be confused with don key ho tay) with a nice big windmill.

No they haven't, Scots and Germans use a velar fricative after front vowels like 'i' (as in the German 'ich' which is phlegm free) and a big phlegmy one after back vowels like 'o' and 'a' (as in Scottish 'loch'). :)

Nik Kershaw is a famous linguist, so he he must be right.

It's the only way I have ever heard it said. It's said the same way in the film (which I bet Kershaw watched) and in that Terry Gilliam thing.
