that not chocolate. thats vege oil and sugar

But it has it's place. My bought me a box of miniature heroes the other day and I have snaffled them constantly since. However, I am suddenly very into nice dark chocolate. I think that means I am finally a grown up. I like Cote D'Or 70%. It's very thin and lovely. Had 85% the other day but was less nice.

when i win the lottery I am going to have a bath in chocolate.

i prefer dark chocolate but if milk i prefer CDM

I like Green & Black's 70% dark chocolate best, although not too keen on other dark chocolates.

Most milk chocolate is good, or white.

I don't eat much chocolate though, I might have one bar a month, if that.

I like white choccolate. And I don't care if you don't think it's proper chocolate.
The funny thing is that (according to one of Robert Wolke's kitchen science books anyway) although 'decent' white 'chocolate' usually contains a decent proportion of cocoa butter, it doesn't actually have to contain any cocoa at all - so it can just be hydrogenated vegetable fat of non-cocoa origin, sugar, perhaps milk, and artificial flavourings :) in the USA at least.

I like chocolate that doesn't really taste of chocolate at all. Plamil's soy milk choccy bars are alright I suppose :)

I once scoffed an entire big bar of Bourneville as a youth and promptly threw the whole lot up, as a big bittersweet treacley mess, on my parents' landing; it doesn't hold quite such the same allure any more for some reason :)

but can i just add, theres nothing worse than a chocolate snob.

Oh yes there is. Wine snobs, clothes snobs, food snobs, they're all worse ime.

I like good chocolate. Usually plain, occasionally milk and for those odd moments of sweet beyond belief(I don't eat much sweet stuff) white.
Virtually always continental choc, very very rarely british 'chocolate'. Mars, Terrys, Frys etc are ok.

I thought this was going to be 'from the fridge' WRONG or 'half melted and gooey cos it's been sitting in the cupboard directly above the under-cupboard light' CORRECT :)

In a perfect world I'd eat most of my chocolate with a spoon....

LOVE the stuff.

That poll is shit. Where is the I love it all! option!? :(
My thoughts exactly.
Ok maybe not totally as i hate white chocolate as it tastes like baby sick, but milk chocolate is gorgeous and plain when in the mood, dipped into coffee like people dip biscuits..pure heaven :D

You couldn't eat Bourneville nowadays even if it did hold some sort of allure; it's got milk in!

I bought a bar of it a few months back as I was desperate for a cocoa hit, , and that was the only 'dark' chocolate that the shop had... I ignored the milk, tucked in, and promptly spat it out. Bloody disgusting it was - like a bar of sugary oil with a sprinkling of cocoa powder in it.
