Watch that fat fuck run!!!!!

I'd ring the vet and ask, personally.. but if you want to ask a load of nutters from theinterwebz, that's up to you :p

You can hardly force him to exercise, so you'll just have to cut down on his food.

It's YOUR fault he's fat :p

Catnip stuffed toys? My really old cat even plays with them when they're full of fresh catnip. Toys on a string thing? All of my cats go mad for that except the really old one, and that's cos she is just too old :( Shr still has her odd 5 minutes playing with the catnip toy though.

Diet biscuits? Biscuits that are lower in whatever fattening stuff for housebound cats? Don't know if any of these work or are just marketing ploys?

Some cats just, ime, get fatter with age. My sister's eldest cat is about 12 and she took a right cropper yesterday trying to jump on to the windowsill from the table. A manouvre she would have done with ease a couple of years ago but not now with her big (ok very large) belly. And she's always out prowling, hunting, etc. Sian reckons other people might be feeding her cos she's a right friendly little girl. Any chance your's is getting treats elsewhere?

I don't like you anymore, Callie :(

He doesn't really play with toys, never has done. He's asleep on my bed at the moment and he hasn't really ventured past the bed and my lap. Just worried that's he's going to pop off soon. He is 15 so is getting on a bit but he's not as healthy or as fit as he used to be and I just think if he lost a bit weight he could walk a bit better. He sort of hobbles about in the mornings and when it is cold. :(

15 is a good age for a cat. Let the arl lad hobble around and crash wherever he wants eh

He's 15 years old, for fucks sake. Would you go into an old folks home and force them all to jog around the block?
