How do you dress?

I keep buying clothes that are slightly to small for me.

Ah, but boys can get away with this!

I love colours, bright stuff. Like to dress all high heels and lady-like but depends where I'm going, I tone it down for a dirty drum and bass night :)

Oh yeah, and heels. Always, or I am just not right.

To demonstrate: I went out to meet a friend the other day wearing Green Flash trainers, battered jeans, a grey leather bomber jacket and a black and white Prince t-shirt, and one of those Arabic black and white scarves. He asked me if I was in fancy dress. :o

Hehe :)

I have spent many a night out having my feet plastered up because I wear daft shoes to unsuitable places! Once I suspected a bit of glass had attacked my foot but chose to ignore it. Until my mate took one look at my foot and dragged me to the loos...blood, everywhere...

lol, my definition of shoes that fit is that you can get your feet into them and walk without falling over, comfort doesn't come into it. :o

Dressy. I like a hint of 1940's Hollywood glamour. Dita Von Teese style (when she has clothes on  ).

I tie my hair up in Grecian plaits and wind them round my head. I wear drop earrings and costume jewellry, and silk/ chiffon scarves every single day, with everything.

fitted tops, skirts and heels, oh god i love heels and they make me feel very sexy. I feel pretty sexy dressed up. I do dress down as well but mostly i dress up.

my style icons are dita von teese and helena bonham carter, although my style is my own and i dont carbon copy either.

I like the sound of that outfit.

nom.

I'd like to sum up how I dress with a word that isn't 'repetitively'. :(

Basically I have slim fit grey/black jeans or black cords. On top either purple with a jewelled neck line, or black with lace (front and back) above bosom line. Then black V neck jumper or thin, longer, so holey it has laddered (no elbow or pits), black v neck jumper and/or black zip up hoody. Any combination of those for outdoors. Oh and black pump style pimpsols with a hole. Bit scruffy but with make up (probably black and purple...).

I suspect my wardrobe still hasn't come to terms with dropping out of uni.

At home I'm in a huge towelling dressing gown (black). Oh, or skirts and heels. They never quite make it outdoors.

Edit: I apologise for the unreadable paragraph. :o I'm recovering from an excursion to lidl.

Casual, verging on dragged through a hedge backwards if I've been cycling or walking to work.

Hasn't this thread been done before?
...but if you really must know again I dress to the right.

... did you give them a slap ???
no i gave them an inflamed feminist rant

actually it did hurt my feelings a bit because although i dont spend hours choosing each outfit i like to think i have a good eye for these things and i think i dress quite nicely. thank you very much :(

I tend to go for the parka, baggy jeans, boots and black top look although now putting on weight at a vast rate i am now contemplating asking an older friend if she has any old kaftans from her hippy days that she can throw my way :D

I dunno.

My friends say I always look nice.

<spits>

Today, I am wearing black wide leg trousers, and a speckly jumper.

Yesterday, I wore black wide leg trousers, long sleeved bright pink t-shirt and a black kimono top.

Tomorrow, I'm going to wear something other than black wide leg trousers!

Maybe the bright red cardigan I bought the other week, with a back skirt..

I always seem to wear a lot of black when my hair is dyed... too many things clash with purple/pink.

<goes to see if the red cardi clashes with the hair>

Also, none of you have seen me @ work, heh!! :o :(
Pic!

At work I'm attempting to look presentable without looking officey. I do still get special scientist allowance for scruffiness, I think.

Out I wear whatever allows me not to carry a bag and won't look too too dreadful when my clothes are wringing-wet sweaty! :(

Black office trousers, black jacket, black T shirt for work. Servicable, dullish, infinitely forgettable and faintly untidy. I have yet to achieve any measure of grooming successfully.Very occasionally go mad and wear grey.

Out of work, jeans, black tops, leather or denim jackets. Lots and lots of boots. I never look any different, no matter what I wear. Can never figure out colours, or what suits me, so long stopped trying.

As you were.

i have a few different styles which all kinda melt into one really. Docs, polo shirt, jeans somedays others brothel creepers, smart shirt, jeans. I do try and colour match a bit and being the vain twat that I am try and look my best at all times

I wear dresses and skirts a lot, either with heels or boots. I don't wear trousers that much, apart from jeans, which I also wear with heels, boots or sometimes ballet pumps. I wear shorts quite a bit in the winter, with thick tights and heels.

I don't really do scruffy. i don't wear trainers, unless I'm going to the gym or for a run. I'm quite glam a lot of the time, I suppose. :o

When I was in France at New Year, all the expats thought I was French, because I was wearing a sparkly beret and a raincoat. :D

I'm not sure how I would categorise my look. Always well tailored wide leg trousers, DMs, low cut top under blouse, not ever any more patterning than pinstripes, scarf, no jewellery, most things are black, dark blue or grey although I have the odd purple thing too. The whole lot is topped off with long dark hair. Smart bohemian perhaps? I dunno...

Casual goth? ;)

I likes to wear a bit of colour.. red, or purple or turquoise or fuschia. If I find myself wearing all black, then I'll add a bit of colour with jewellery or a bag.

I didnt say how I dressed did i :o
I like to wear lots of layers, so I will usually have on at least three tops, vest/long sleeves/cardi or jumper
i like bright colours and pattterns. I also like to wear neutral colurs but when i do I de-bland it by wear tonal colours with it or contrasting ones. Usually wear trousers but am now considering the merits of skirts (being small though its hard to find one that is the right length but that another ramble).
I dont spend too much time thinking about what to wear I just buy things that are versatile and let the mood take me.
Dont wear trainers either, I wear flat boots or flat pumps. I will never get the hang of walking in heels
I don't dress sexily, it wouldnt even occur to me that I should go for a sexy look. I dress nicely but only for the benefit of myself.

how do i dress ?......

like myself !

my mum thinks i dress in an eccentric way though and need to grow up and wear 'proper' clothes......whatever they are ?
