Is so vanilla
Nope. The toast was usually cut into triangles, if it was cut at all. Sometimes the liquid part was "mopped" up from the plate with the toast triangle, entirely without the benefit of utensils.

You are blessed indeed. Truly blessed. I am simultaneously in awe and humbled by your spiritual and magical powers.I must be blessed then in that case![]()

If you find them undercooked and the white bit goopey put the egg(s) in the microwave. But only for about 10 seconds (two eggs). 5 secs if they are nearly cooked.
The microwave is very strong, be careful, 20 secs in the microwave and they will be hard hard.

Personally I put the egg into a pan of cold water, as I can’t bare the possibility of them cracking from the temperature change.

I often do myself 3 eggs. Bang them straight into boiling water and fish them out bang on 3 mins.
If you take the top off the first one and it's a little underdone then just eat the other 2 in a couple of minutes.
If it's just right, then eat two of the eggs (you can let the third one go hard and put it the fridge).

No, the egg whites are supposed to be cooked and solid. It's the yolk that's supposed to be runny and what you're supposed to dunk your soldiers in.Don't worry. I'm not certain I could stomach the consistency you folk seem to prefer. Runny egg whites are wrong!
it's surprisingly difficult to find really representative picures of egg and soldiers.![]()
Then don't keep your eggs in the fridge, they are not supposed to be stored there.
The clue is to look where things are stored in the supermarket or wherever.
Are tomatoes in the fridge - No. They perish quicker in the fridge. Etc etc etc.
Eggs last for bloody ages.
Three minutes in boiling water for some nice runny yolk action.
Sorry, I'm no use to you as I haven't even mastered regular chicken eggs.i have some duck eggs and am now tempted to boil 5 of them for brekkie tomorrow, though i was going to scramble them. are the rules any different for duck eggs?

Are they smaller than chicken eggs? I thought they were bigger?
That's what I was thinking too, they're also richer and fattier, at least that's what I've heard, so 5 would be a struggle I imagine. I've never gone beyond chicken eggs myself - those I had tried before I started keeping birds as pets - these days anything other than a chicken egg I find a repellent idea - I wouldn't eat a parrot egg, the line has to be drawn somewhere.Sorry, I'm no use to you as I haven't even mastered regular chicken eggs.
But *five* eggs for breakfast!?Are they smaller than chicken eggs? I thought they were bigger?
