How do i stop birds shitting on my car?

Ever since I've had my car (kindly given to me by Ngeru and LDR), I've noticed lots of bird shit on the drivers door. Every time i clean it off there's more the next day. I've seen birds (or possibly 1 bird) sitting on the wing mirror and shitting. I just need to keep them off the wing mirror. Strangely they're not attracted to any other part of the car.

shoot them or get a Peregrine Falcon

mediation.

you need to talk it over with them to resolve your differences.

(dont use a cat as a mediator, it might intimidate the other party)

My mum has one of these on her garage to keep the seagulls away. Seems to work, even though one of the wings has broken, making it look a bit ill. :)

Yesyes, that's it! Cover it in spikes.

Or - don't park under a tree.

Or - buy an inflatible garage and park your car in that. Then when the birds shit on it, it'll bounce back at them. Haha.

i get a lot of purple bird poop on my car when i park in my street sometimes, the birds eat some sort of berry that shit it all out on all the cars in the street

Stick a sock over the wing mirror when the car isn't in use. The shit'll go on that and you can wash it off.

what' colour is it birds seem to love shitting on black yellow or red cars no idea why byt every time they are far more indulgent than on other colours...

I'd put some contact adhesive on the top of the mirror then drive the fucker about 30 miles away and then unstick it...

that'll learn it...

My pal used to put a plastic bag over her wing mirror to stop birds landing on it and pooing down her door. Missfran's sock idea might work just as well, but a placcy bag would be slidier imo.
