How come there are gaps between things

Are you *sure* about that? If so, that's one less thing we don't know, perhaps leading to *another* less thing we don't know and ....
 
if you were to hang very sensitive clocks along a big spring or rubber band that you nailed to the wall, and that you pull the other end of the rubber band by walking away with it: that the clocks closer to the wall will run progressively faster

i bet he didn't actually do this

This post made me go "ooooooh" lol.

I guess it depends on what level you obsrve the world to what extent "gaps" and "stuff" occurs,,,as in the atomic lvel has quite alot of..."space" with nothing in it etc etc and then there is string theory and that makes all sorts of interesting statements...
