1.4, s'alright...

my previous car had a 987 engine, managed to get a ton out of it a couple of times

yes i know it's not big or clever
:)

Mines only 1998cc but it's turbocharged and pumps out 325 bhp!
Defeats the object of all this engine size related tax really. In 20 years time we'll all be driving the same car anyway (probably a Trabant!)
, it'll be compulsory

Nice ! What'cha got?

Mine's a 1998cc petrol, which does about 35/40mpg. Not too economical, but not too bad either (plus it has a catalyst)....

I aim to drive under half the miles I cycle - i.e I drive maybe 1,000 miles per year. My car is a 12 year old 2 litre Peugeot Diesel that my brother gave me. I reckon it's probably more economical than the 600CC 2CV I used to share ...

So I pay my share of road tax ;)

We have two cars, both are 1.9 turbo diesels. Mine is pretty aged but still gets around 45 mpg. Mr weepiper's is a couple of years old and gets about 55mpg.

My Bentley's a couple of learner bikes under 7 litres (6.75) - strangely, it's about the same consumption-wise as the last Jag I had which was only a 3.2.

Honda Civic Coupé ...

1.5 litres.

It's not as frugal as the previous car (a 1 litre Citroën AX...), but it is a lot more fun :D

lol, cheeky fecker :)

It's getting chopped in soon for something a bit less *hairdresser* :)

They are actually good fun to drive though eh - I still like the most recent MR2 as well for a little 2 seat convertible, that is also cheap and reliable......

I really fancy a Honda S2000 problem is, there are just no good roads in Dubai - they are all straight, multi-lane and boring.

If you want fun driving in the UAE, it has to be off-road........with that in mind I want a short wheel-base 4.8ltr Nissan Patrol!

*hopes Ed isn't reading this*

How much are you paying for petrol in Dubai Groke?

Not a lot....

It costs me about 65 Dirham to fill up my tank from empty (60 litre)

At current rates, that is 9 pounds 50.

I am going to get such a shock once I leave this place I can tell you....

:)

Mine's a Toyota Hiace van, 2800cc.

I assuage my guilt in having it by the fact that I only use it about once every three weeks, more in the summer, but basically it's a weekend vehicle. I cycle everywhere and the annual mileage on it therefore is teensy.

I've got a 998 cc E reg micra. The fuel gauge doesn't work so my mum told me to fill it up when when it gets to 160 miles. I can fill it up for 20 quid so it's pretty cheap.
