Not everybody has the use of equipment that you have, the competition relies on the photograph, not the use of high end equipment.

It all smacks of elitism.

But you don't need high end kit to take good photos of everyday objects...

While it's a nice idea, voting via a poll, why limit the competition by the constraints of the forum set-up. Why not just sack of the voting - someone sets a theme/object for the compo - we have some time to do it - we then all discuss the photos and then discuss what the next object will be - bit more anarchic - this competitive shit is overrated anyway.

Because it would just degenerate into bickering.
