House - Medical drama with Hugh Laurie

He could be my dad

But there's something about the character. Maybe I'm just attracted to arrogant men??????

And the unshavenness suits him much better - and I don't do facial hair.

love the superior disease-of-the-wekk/Columbo hybrid description: sopt on

bump!

It's on daytime now and I have to say I absoloutley love it at the moment.

I can't quite belive that I find Hugh Laurie somewhat sexy (something I thought would NEVER happen). He does tramp it up rather nicely.

I know it's nothing world changing but it is lighthearted and exciting, and the story lines are good... and I love a bit of a "whodunnit?" anyway.

Yay!

Well that'll probably finish soon, because it's been on daytime TV for a couple of weeks now so it must be near the end of its run

I have to confess to constantly expecting Stephen Fry or someone to be a patient one episode :D
I heard an interview with Stephen Fry who said he went to visit his old mate Hugh in the US while he was filming, but while Stephen Fry was there, Hugh remained 'in accent' all the time, because to keep flicking backwards and forwards would mean he might lose it during filming, or something.

Imagine that? Visiting your mate of several decades only to hear them speaking with you in a completely random foreign accent all the time. Wouldn't that drive you nuts? Wouldn't you want to say, okay, the novelty's worn off, stop it now.
