Horror Films of 2018

Do you think the Alun Armstrong character was real in the film?

I mean it's clear he had abused Phillip but I wasn't sure whether he was actually physically there in the real time of the film.

I saw Creep 2 last night. Absolutely superb, clever, tense and brilliantly acted. One of those cases whereby a sequel surpasses the original, imo at least.

You'd want to watch Creep first, which is a very decent film itself. But even if you're not that convinced by the first, do check out C2. You won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed both of them, thought the first would be rubbish, but was a quite an original and gripping horror.

Not to be confused with the other 'Creep' from 2004, set in the London Underground. Also a good film though, for a low budget Brit horror.

The ambiguity of it all was horrible. I kept on changing my mind as I watched and also afterwards.

The last scene was the killer - just Philip, clearly still so traumatised, sitting in his derelict garden either having been dropped by the police or mental health services, starting the film as he began. Still odd, creepy, still fucked up.

The trauma never going to go away.

The first teaser trailer of IT: Chapter 2 has just been released. Part one was fantastic, one of the best Stephen King film adaptations ever made IMO.

And boy, if this trailer is anything to go by, I think we can expect part 2 to be just as good... :)

Mmm... maybe we need a Horror Films 2019 thread. Anyways, I came here to post the newly released final trailer for It Chapter Two, and that I shall do...

Can't fucking wait
