yeah,but that's what the conspiranoids have been saying for ages,ok,yes they say it's going to get ALOT worse in a fema prison camp styleee.But as we can't see the future yet,you can't actually say that it's not going to happen with 100% certainty. At least,not any more you can't. A few years ago,if someone said that they were going to start microchipping us,you'd have been laughed off the boards. (and I do believe several people were) But it's what they've started to do. They've put all these little laws in,100s and thousands of the little bastards since the "Terror threat" (must be a list of them somewhere online) Who knows what that's really going to lead to. ("They" also predicted this credit crunch,but I think they called it "oh noes,they is going to collapse the economy,deliberatly")
I used to think it was all bollocks,all this NWO shit,but I'm not so sure anymore. And as it starts to unfold,I just half see it,like a freight train,right at us. And there's fuck all we can do about it cos we're tied to the tracks.

)Its not good at all, thinking back to when cops were issued CS it was only intended for incidents where they felt their lives or the lives of others were under immediate threat. You only have to watch Bravo/real life cop show things to see that CS is used as a matter of routine these days - likewise the Spraying of protestors at EDO and climate camp. - In situations where there was no way the cops could have felt their lives were threat
Yep. By definition they're only going to be using it on unarmed people. If they think you've got a gun, they're going to shoot you with a real gun.

What I found disturbing about the way tasers have been used in the US (and doubtless will be by the UK police) is when they're used to coerce via agony someone who is being disrespectful rather than presenting any threat. That student who got tased in a library in the US is an excellent example. He presented no sort of threat, but rather wasn't behaving with due deference and had to be 'taught respect' in the tiny authoritarian minds of the officers concerned. Oh how they must have laughed as he flopped around on the floor begging for mercy and weeing himself.

I would imagine that if the protesters get nasty the cops may well do.
Think of the bright side. When they caught terrorists here last year the cops called in an army helicopter and blew the fuckers to hell with a guided missile.

This is true. I witnessed parva pepper spray being used against a crowd at climate camp that were very uncooperative, but in no conceivable way a danger to the life or limb of anyone, including the cops.
They should watch out, since as their own guidelines state, 'the use of [such methods] may escalate a situation' - I should hope so.
By the way, doesn't a tazer only have one shot? In which case they'd better be able to run fast afterwards from the now no longer non-violent crowd...

Today is scheduled to be the start of the NIR, yesterday they announce mass tasers to deal with the population.
So, talk of an encroaching authoritarian state is clearly not paranoia. Just demonstrable and I doubt many here would disagree.
So then we have to ask "is it all just accident, a function of power or a deliberate plan"?
For me, the 2nd and 3rd are the case. Power operates that way but through individuals.
Then we need to ask "is this just a UK plan that they havent discussed with anyone outside?" Of course that would be silly, the level is at least EU as stuff like project stork and the prum treaty show.
Whether NWO exists or not, it is certainly in the enemies lexicon and Bildeberg is a horryfying fact of life that many on the broad left still dont take remotely seriously enough IMO

Taser more use against the drunk/stoned/mad angry person whose not going to come quietly.
you can get into fisticuffs with chances of the copper or perp getting hurt.
cs pepper spray does'nt intimidate so you end up using it person gets arrested long lasting pain change of clothing and extra hassle all round.
