It's a shame, because the two Swiss goals were excellent. Both by Shaqiri. The first was a fantastic strike past a bunch of defenders from the edge of the area, and the second was a nice finish after he was put through one-on-one with the keeper.

At the moment, the Swiss. With the Swiss winning, Ecuador needs to beat France to have a chance to advance.

It's worth noting that Ecuador would not only have to beat France, but would have to beat them 2-0. A 1-0 victory would put the Ecuadorians and the Swiss equal on points and equal on goal difference, but the Swiss would advance based on goals scored.
