Homeless people on the street in London...

There seems to be quite a few rough sleepers in the underpasses at Elephant. Authorities come and clear them away every now and again. Sometimes old faces reappear sometimes new ones... :/

FYI -Centrepoint is for 16-25 year olds. I'm not sure on the ages of the family you mention Orang.

If there's a wheelchair user sleeping there it's definately a local authority issue.
wouldn"t it be better to contact a group and be referred on than not contact at all?

There are definately more homeless on the streets of nottingham. Way more.

The local charity Framework, amongst others, have had their budgets slashed as part of austerity cut backs. To help workers and bankers take home more pay.

It's shameful, it really is :(

No. It's better to contact the right group; in this it's uncertain as they are not British.

If there was no advice given and Centrepoint was the only contact given then of course contact them. In this case Orang has been advised of other organisations that may be able to help.

I was merely informing you that Centrepoint works with 16-25 year olds, hence the 'FYI'.

Isn't there some kind of homeless protest today in London? I thought that was why this thread had been bumped. Anybody know anything about it?

Maharani obviously it's better to contact the right group  but it's strange you need to repeat what I said re local authorities and shelter but then quibble about my third suggestion.
