Isn't the 'serving hatch' a bit on the large size? ;)

Well done. It's very satisfying compleating a project like that.

Where did you get the tiles from? I've been looking for some like that for my bathroom but all the ones I've seen are a bit too pastel coloured for my liking.

The idea was to leave the kitchen and diner as open as possible but we needed a partitioning wall for the units to back on to.
The serving hatch is not designed to be a serving hatch, but no doubt will be used as such.

The tiles came from a place in Wolverhampton called 'Tile Clearing House'
the tiles are called 'Samara beige' and are 25cm x 40cm
I bought 40 tiles @ £40 and used use 31 tiles to do the job.

Cheers. Not sure I want to travel all the way to Wolverhampton for some tiles though.

Why not?
I'd make you a cup of tea and show you my skillz :D

Tommorow its new sockets and switches, and carpet shopping :(

Brushed steel ot Nickel?

Beige or fawn?

:hmm:

The doorway you question leads in to the extension, the 'utility' which will be home to the washing m/c, drier and upright freezer.
On the wall opposite the window is another door which leads to 'the cupboard under the stairs' which will be a larder.
If anything, we have too many cupboards now :D

Now, because the utility leads in to the garage, which will be my bedroom, should I partition and area of it off and have it as an on suite?

Oh re the door. :( And yes to the en suite :)
