Hiring a Routemaster bus

I have a decent working routemaster lurking in my bus garage. It's a favour to a bunch of bus enthusiasts. I don't know for sure what it's used for but some of my drivers have driven it. I will see what the score is. What month is the wedding?Oh it's September, that gives plenty of time to sort it out but really I should know on Mon or Tues if it could be a goer.
Thank you. One sensible answer amongst all the Pussy Galore stag night shite, smart arse comments and insta-Google cut and pastes.

:)

*faith in urban nearly restored.

Why didn't you just start a thread saying 'DOES ANY POSTER HAPPEN TO HAVE A GARAGE WITH A SPARE ROUTEMASTER BUS SITTING IN IT, SO THAT I CAN AVOID PAYING THE SATNDARD RENTAL FEE FOR A ROUTEMASTER?' thus saving anyone else the fucking bother of searching on your behalf. Twat.

Or, I could have started a thread asking about the urban poster who was able to offer a cheap Routemaster hire rate in the past and, when presented with an expensive standard rate in the first reply by someone else, promptly clarify my request by asking for someone with 'insider knowledge' and preferably 'cheapo deals'.

Oh, hang on. That's what I did!

("Twat"? That's really not very nice.)

I'm going to close this thread now because I really don't like the way it's going. I was only trying to help out a friend for her wedding day.

TopCat: please PM me if you're able to help. Thanks.
