How can people not love QI? I've never not loved an episode. Alan Davies even makes me laugh. I for one hope they go right up to Z. I've got all the books n' all![]()
I won't watch anything with his annoying, smug face on it. If he was removed, I'd give it a chance.
You mean Alan Davies? I suppose that's fair enough. Don't have a problem with him myself...

Getting rid of Hughes as a captian marked Buzzcocks getting better.
I *heart* QI too.
Perhaps a strong interest in useless information and a love of Stephen Fry are prerequisites...
The cocktail bar was the absolute antithesis of the u75 dream...

Seriously, how shit is this program now? I actually can't stand either of them anymore. Paul Merton does the same lame "I'm so zany" routine that just isn't funny anymore, and is actually pretty cring worthy most of the time, and Ian Hislop does his same predictable "political jabs" every week. And why the hell have they got people like Fern Britton presenting it?
It's just annoying because of what a quality piece of proggramming it used to be, I remember when I would literally be crying with laughter for half an hour non-stop, and now it's just the occasional chuckle (usually one of the guests).
Anyone else agree?
This weeks is very poor.![]()
no love for Tom Baker last week?
thought he was fantastic on the extended show

But if they had done that we would have never seen what must rate as one of the funniest episodes of anything ever broadcast anywhere in television history: the first time Boris sat in the host chair. They should have let it die with dignity after Deaton left.
I think the debate about whether or not it is as good as it used to be is something of a red herring, it is still one of the best programmes on tv.
I don't really rate Boris Johnson, he can't deliver a line for shit. But if they had done that we would have never seen what must rate as one of the funniest episodes of anything ever broadcast anywhere in television history: the first time Boris sat in the host chair.
