Best Album Of The Year -
Tom Waits, Orphans

Yesterday I had a long flight and listened to Orphans without distractions. I loved it so much I thought I'd start a thread. Imagine my horror when I realized I completely agree with Dub about music! Much as I love Dub we usually have divergent views on such matters....I rather like "Imagine" for example.

Tiesto live in Austin.....wow...live event of the year

it was shit really, just feel I should try and provoke the old bugger

or Beck 'The Information )

yeah that was quite good
or The aggrolites self titled album

single- fat freddys drop - cay's cray

gig- oh man, wat a choice, so many good uns this year. Salmonella Dub was good, as was Fat Freddys Drop. Subhumans? Citizen Fish? Bad Manners?
but probably gota go with LEFTOVER CRACK with support from my mates band.

most disappointing gig- against all authority

only did ARUMDO festival this year which had some good acts, gona get bigger and better that festivalf or sure!

Album:

Hot Chip - The Warning

Single:

Girls Aloud - Something kinda ooh

Gig:

Tricky one - probably a toss up between Kid Carpet at Bestival & Alabama 3 at Brixton Splash

Festival:

Quiet year for festies - only went to Bestival and it was ok but incredibly badly organised it so my vote goes to the Lambeth Country Show (not strictly a festie but was the fucking nuts :) )
