Fuck all of you, I reckon. Let's have a big bonfire

We can burn Heat and cook sausages or pies....on sticks..

missfran - sorry to be ranty but this thing really gets me, do you get my point though?

to resurrect a fraught thread from earlier today:

much as i hate my muffin tops, the "dinner lady bulge" created by anything that actually fastens on my disproportionately small waist is vile.

for me, it's hipsters, mostly.

Men don't have much in the way of waists so look better in jeans with lower waists.

Women do, so don't.
I don't have much in the way of a waist either - never have had, no matter what weight I've been.

I lurve hipsters - not for the way they look, just purely for the comfort. I can't stand feeling cinched in at the middle, and just wear big tops to cover any 'seepage' :)

I hate really low hipster jeans like the ones they sell in Topshop, the Moto ones, I prefer something in between, like River Island's jeans. Marks and Spencer's Per Una jeans come up really high and I find them so uncomfortable.

I haven't the faintest idea what the hell "hipsters" are.

That is all.

You wanna scoot down to Primark again and get in the know, young man. There's a whole world of low-hung jeans out there.

Yeah - Per Una are straying dangerously close to Cowell territory :(

I've got a pair of Moto hipster maternity jeans at the moment, and I truly love them apart from the fact that my crack is always on show to the world.

But like I said – very long vests

"low-hung jeans"

Is that another way of saying "don't fit properly"????

What is it with these dubious contemporary "fashions" and their obsession with looking like the shop didn't have your size in?!?!?

No, my hipster jeans fit beautifully around the legs. I just have to run the risk of my arse being on display, that's all. It's a small price to pay, I feel

I loathe and detest the really low hipsters -- I really don't want to show off my underwear, thanks very much.

I used to look good in hipsters before pregnancy. I've still got a flat stomach, but the fatty pads in the love handle area never used to be there.

Therefore, I LOVE the well-cut jeans (sadly usually more expensive ones :( ) that have a higher waist at the back, but still have a low front, so that I don't feel as if I'm being cut in half when I sit down (what I always used to hate about high-waisted jeans), but yet don't get the muffin top lookey at the back either.

^^^ probably deluded tho. :o
