Got some skinny black high waisted jeans. Wear them alot. Got some high waisted trousers for being a smarty pants! :p Am after a high waisted pencil skirt soon.....
I am interested in fashion and what's sposed to be in or not but ultimately if I like something, I'll get it. If it happens to be in fashion..ok, if not *shrug* :)
Fwiw I've never liked hipsters. Heh.



P.S. the tucked in look can look fab. imo
 
Love them and have just bought two pairs of high-waisted indigo jeans - one wide legged, and one kick flare or whatever it's called. May go for straight leg and high-waisted too, but am scared of looking like a skittle too. :D

I realise that I've been conflating gangs, having done some cursory research.

But yes - the Orphans sucked!
 
I like them - but more for their comfort and control, as opposed to the low-waisted jeans that let my unsightly flab flob over the top. :(
 
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried a pair on - like Vintage Paw I was mostly pleased with the smoothing effect ;)

I think I'd look better in them if I had longer legs though - looks a bit daft on my short-ness.

See, I think the leg-lengthening effect is better on shorter people. I'm not convinced it works with the tall-ness. I've tried a pair of high-waisted trousers on and I feel like I'm 90% leg.
 
I voted no NO NO NO. but thats only on blokes. On women it can look pretty good but you would have to be fairly slim to pull it off.

I'm scared they'd make my hips and bum look big! Someone was wearing a high waisted skirt on tv the other night, I think holly willoughby, which did look beautiful but rather made her look two sizes bigger than she was. I don't know if they're made for curves... I'm only a size 12 on the bottom but I do have a rather cuvacious backside!

Ive got mine on now.

I reckon I got my share of hips and bum, but the leg of the jean is pretty long and flared to balance everything out, if you know what I mean.
