Hi-Tec Silver Shadow Trainers

At least I don't wear a digital watch.
But presumably wearing a watch per se is a bit quaint ?
But it's surprising how often people ask me what the time is.

it's summer, Onket reckons you need a pair of these

Only just seen this, thanks for the mention Dan U.

Flip flops are for Australians and girls. Badgers is neither, as far as I am aware.

They're a bit bright - but hopefully they'll dull down a bit with wear.
Much more comfortable on the carpeted concrete floors at work than the crappy Karrimors I had before.

Big though.
If I buy a second pair for home I'll only buy a size 12. I wouldn't want to run in these with all the room at the toe end.

Brilliantly comfortable on the concrete floors, but the static !

And it isn't just the arm-jolting shocks.
My job involves a fair bit of PC maintenance and I now have to be careful about discharging myself.

I clicked on my previous order to order a new pair but a size smaller because the last pair turned out to be a bit too big - OK for slopping around in, no good for serious physical activity - and they've completely changed the design and they're narrower as well as smaller - seems that Amazon automatically offer you the cheapest supplier for any given size - so I will have to send them back and be careful when re-ordering ... :p

i wore them this morning, but in truth i was very deliberately going well Old Skool - Silver Shadows, obscenely small shorts, a Bty tour t-shirt from about 2002 and the fluffiest sidies i've had for years. the regular inhabitants of a secret RN base not far from Helensborough will have been properly impressed - or perhaps thought that something from OP YEWTREE had escaped...

i'm disgusted to note that new SS are white/grey - mine are the proper ones, olive green in case the Russians attacked while we were doing PT. fortunately i've got 5 more pairs floating about the house so i can maintain the look of being obsessively tight for many years to come.
