Have a good time all :)

Right,I don't want to worry you all,but Jezza is your group leader :D He knows where he is going,I'm not 10% sure where the pub is,but I'll find out soon enough :D

(((everyone))) :D
eek! I haven't been back since I was 18!

Well there's a map up above and it looks fairly simple to get to.

I'll be staying with my parents this weekend so I should just be able to get the bus

This is true, but I don't fancy drinking from 2. I'm planning on coming along early evening and don't know if people will still be in the Farmers Boy, or if they'll have moved on. And we're being led by Mr Unreliable!

Xes can you PM me your number?

I can meet people at the station at 2 if people are meeting up there...
presuming you mean st albans city station, what time?
alternatively, I'll be in the farmer's boy at 2pm

What time is this meant to be happening, roughly?

Is it
a)a daytime event
b)an evening thing
c)an all-day till closing time sort of deal
d)Mr Garrison?

Just asking because I'll have work that saturday, till 6pm. Will I still be able to make it? - I don't really know where this St Albans is, but it sounds far way...
zora, st albans akas The Finest Town In The World is c. 30 mins by train from kings X.

Ok,the Crown.
Directions.
Come out of the station the side of the ticket office. As you come out, turn left, walk past the bus stops/car park and up the road, when you get to the top of the road turn right and walk down the road to the bottom, pub is on the other side of the road by the traffic lights. Large place, you can't miss it.
2pm.
we do mean the Crown on Hatfield Rd, yes?

Where's Xes? He hasn't posted on here for a week.
Don't panick!! I'm here, just been so busy at work, not had a chance to smell me own farts or anything!!

Meeting up in the Farmers Boy at 2pm then. Anyone meeting at the station can do so,I'll probably can meet people there too (cos I'm not sure where this pub actually is :D ) Might be cutting it a bit fine with the time, cos I've got to come back from Bournemouth in the morning, got to go to a funeral on friday, but I hope to be able to get back on the friday night. I will be there to meet people,do not worry,i am the master at fudging it.

oh ye of little faith. I'm looking forward to revisiting all the places I misbehaved most badly in as a teenager. wonder if there's still a vomit stain on the ceiling of the Horn of Plenty (as it then was)

Hmm its looking like Im not going to be in hertfordshire this weekend after all, what with deadlines and how behind I am I may not be able to justify the time off :(

I hate cancelling last-minute!

Ok, just to confirm- meet at St Albans Thameslink station at 2, and walk down to the Farmer's Boy. I might even bring dante with me! :D

 :( We went out (sans mobile), wandered around for hours looking for drinking people, couldn't find them, went home, got a call from xes, went to go out again, realised I had no money for a cab and was too lazy to walk :o

Hope people had a good one, sorry for being so crap...

I only made it for the latter part of the drinks, by which time Jezza was completely pissed and Xes was asking strangers who they would rather shag out of Thatcher and Bush!

Was good to go drinking somewhere different and to see everyone, I hope Jezza doesn't feel too rough this morning. Shame we didn't meet up with Treefrog.

sorry we missed you treefrog, would have been nice to catch up. Was good to see urbanypeople out of their saftey zone1 :D I also ended up on the water later on in the night, still asking people at 1am who they'd rather shag out of Bush and Thatcher.

Feel a bit worse for wear, but it was worth it. Thanks for coming people :)

I'm taking bets on whether Jezza made it to Housebreakin'!

I reckon he made it. He staggered off in the direction of some buses when I left him at Elephant, he seemed to know where he was going:D

Just took him a few minutes to remember where he was and where he was going when i woke him up on the train :D - he probable made it though.

Had a great time, even if it was just for a short while. Went to PRoD after and feeling a wee bit sore today :o.

Thanks for organising it - St Albans is a great place :).
