Great game. Unrecognisable from the startled earwigs of Munich.

Brendan ignored the 'experts' and continued thr process of incremental improvement. Massive personal step-up's all over the field. Delighted for wee James and sincerely hope his form pushes Roberts on too.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a wee step back from this 'several steps forward' performance next time out. Another bit of a spanking could be on the cards in Paris, but we live in hope. Having said that, a further wee step forward would be satisfying.

And seeing Celtic boss a European team on December 5th - even if it's only Anderlecht - will be a sign of genuine and sustainable progress. HH
