Help me cycle please!

When my kids were young I had a back seat for the little un (9months till about 4yrs) and crossbar, front 1 for the eldest (3.5yrs till prob about 6). Always felt happier having my kids at the front as they used to try catching buses from the backseat  easier when they fall asleep too

As for feet on the ground on not. . . I'm 5ft 2 and can't remember any bike where I've been able to touch the ground properly but if you're not an experienced rider and have a child on the back maybe you should get a smaller frame :)

But you do pay extra for the Woman's frame. (Even if its the same price as the blokes one the gearing/brakes etc, won't be as good.)

Nonsense! They use exactly the same quality components on the ladies model as the blokes, it's just the frame that is a different shape!

But tbh if you want it for pootling about you don't need the fancy stuff.

It gets me to and from work quicker than the bus/train nicely!

This is not my experience. Everytime I have been involved in the purchase of a bike for a woman I've been told the same thing.

Been told that one I want will be too big. I need a 15" frame! :(
Specialized do frames in half sizes you'll be able to get what you want.

There's a bike exchange in London which does mail order as well. Kensington bike exchange?(anyone help here).

An ex of mine got a 14.5" frame and she was 5'2".
